Failed Compressor
Your AC system has numerous components, but the most vital one is the compressor, as it’s the power unit for the whole system. Its job is to put the refrigerant under pressure, which changes it from a gas into a liquid and allows the cooling process to work. If you listen carefully, you will hear the slight click at regular intervals as the compressor switches on and off.
A compressor can fail for various reasons, including age, a lack of refrigerant, or a blown fuse. One of the most common causes is a lack of regular servicing. Refrigerant Leaks
