Powertrain Limited Warranty
Hyundai’s Powertrain Limited Warranty covers 10 years or 100,000 miles. This coverage only applies to the original owners, effective for 2004 model years and newer. For 1999-2003 models, coverage also includes the original owner and immediate family members
New Vehicle Limited Warranty
The New Vehicle Limited Warranty covers 5 years or 60,000 miles. It includes repair or replacement of any component manufactured or originally installed by Hyundai if it proves to be defective under normal use and maintenance.
This warranty extends to radio and audio systems (varying by model year), paint (3 years/36,000 miles), battery (coverage varies by model year), air conditioner refrigerant charge (1 year/unlimited miles), adjustments (1 year/12,000 miles), and wear items (1 year/12/000 miles).
Anti-Perforation Warranty
This warranty lasts 7 years with unlimited miles starting with the 2005 model year. It covers perforation corrosion of original Hyundai body sheet metal due to defects in material or factory workmanship under normal use and maintenance. Surface corrosion is not included.
Roadside Assistance
Hyundai provides 5-Year/Unlimited Miles 24-Hour Roadside Assistance from the vehicle’s in-service date. It includes help with flat tires, dead batteries, and lockouts, and provides towing to the nearest Hyundai location or authorized service provider.
Replacement Parts and Accessories Limited Warranty
Hyundai offers a 12-month/12,000-mile Replacement Parts and Accessories Limited Warranty. It covers repairs or replacement of Hyundai Genuine Replacement Parts or Accessories supplied by Hyundai that are defective in material or factory workmanship, under normal use and maintenance.
Accessories installed on the vehicle at the time of, or before, the vehicle’s first use are covered under the New Vehicle Limited Warranty. Accessories installed after the vehicle’s first use are covered for 12 months/12,000 miles.
Federal Emission Defect and Performance Warranty
Spanning 8 years or 80,000 miles, this warranty covers the repair or replacement of specific major emissions control components, including the catalytic converter, engine control module, and onboard emissions diagnostic device (OBD-II).
California Emissions Control Systems Warranty
This warranty applies for 7 years or 70,000 miles. It covers vehicles manufactured to California specifications, distributed by Hyundai Motor America, and registered in select states. It includes the repair or replacement of specific original Hyundai emissions components.
Hybrid/Electric Battery and Hybrid System Components Warranty
Hybrid, plug-in hybrid, and all-electric vehicles have a 10-year/100,000-mile warranty covering the hybrid/EV battery and system components.
