The SANTA FE Hybrid comes in three trims. The SEL version has 18-inch alloy wheels, LED lights, and a hands-free smart liftgate with an adjustable height setting. It also features body-colored heated and power-folding side mirrors with turn signal indicators. The Limited version adds 20-inch wheels, a dual-pane sunroof, and rain-sensing windshield wipers. The top-of-the-line Calligraphy model sports 20-inch dark finish wheels and unique front and back designs.
Engine (Power)
The SANTA FE Hybrid has a 1.6-liter turbo engine with four cylinders and an electric motor with a lithium-ion battery. Together, they produce 231 horsepower and 271 pound-feet of torque. The vehicle uses a six-speed automatic transmission. Front-wheel drive is standard, but you can opt for all-wheel drive for better grip. With trailer brakes, the SANTA FE Hybrid can pull up to 2,000 pounds.
Performance
The SANTA FE Hybrid uses less gas than traditional vehicles, allowing you to save on fuel costs. Front-wheel drive models get 36 mpg in the city, 35 mpg on the highway, and 36 mpg combined. Interior
Inside, the SANTA FE Hybrid is nice and roomy. It seats up to seven people in the SEL and Limited trims or six in the Calligraphy with the captain's chairs in the middle row. The dashboard has a 12.3-inch touchscreen, and the higher trims feature a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster. Wireless charging makes it easy to keep your devices powered up while you're on the go. All trims have heated front seats, and the higher trims offer heated seats in the rear as well. The top Calligraphy model features premium nappa leather seats, offering even more luxury. Folding the rear seats down gives you 79.6 cubic feet of cargo volume, which is plenty of room for grocery bags or bulky items.
Safety Features
The SANTA FE Hybrid offers many features that prioritize safety. The SmartSense system features forward collision avoidance assist with pedestrian detection, blind-spot monitoring, and rear cross-traffic collision avoidance assist. There's also lane-keeping assist and a driver alert warning, which lets you know if you seem tired or inattentive. The rear occupant alert reminds you to check the back seat for your little ones.
